The impending doom of a kingdom puts King Kull’s life on the line! The fearful plague rages on!

Kull's popularity among the people is again at a low point after holing up in his castle on his advisor's orders to avoid the plague which has struck his kingdom.

The scheming Baron Kanuub takes full advantage of this to sow discontent, and even plots an assassination attempt on Kull's life.

But things really come to a head when one of the citizens whose beloved died of the plague is given a magical instrument that summons a monster that Kull must defeat.
